This conference is for managers and Trustees who are thinking about the future of their organisation and the effects of the economic downturn. The evening will enable you to look at how to consider planning ahead despite future uncertainties; consider your financial strategy and how best to protect your organisation; and look at tools for focussing the work of your Trustee group.
About the Contributors
- Tracy Harkin is a Senior Researcher with the Charity Commission.
- Alan Lawrie has written numerous publications for the Directory of Social Change including “Surviving Contracts” and “Business & Strategic Planning”. Alan runs his own consultancy business ‘Mellor Lawrie Management’.
- Jean Laurie, Chair of the Dukes Theatre in Lancaster, has worked in the public sector for 30 years, initiating new services including one of the first school library services in the country. She chaired the Local Government Information Unit between 2007 and 2009, and was a member of North of England Assembly.
